Any Nikon f/2.8 28-70mm users with Lex?

Hey guys-

With Tim Naylor's shoot-out review between the LEX and SGPRO and the great response of the the Nikon f/2.8 80-200mm zoom. It got me thinking are there others out there who are using the LEX with just zoom lenses?

Specifically, the Nikon f/2.8 28-70mm and f/2.8 70-200mm the LEX? Just wondering if the LEX and Nikon zoom combos are equivalent in clarity to Nikon or even Zeiss primes. If so, with my run and gun shooting style and may go with the zooms.

I do have the 28/50/85 Zeiss primes.

Anyone in the Philly area want to do a shoot out test with the Nikon zooms and the LEX/HVX with Zeiss and LEX/HVX?

I do have a Tokina f/2.8 80-200mm and it's pretty sharp but definitely the Zeiss primes are still are sharper.

i have never seen a zoom equal to or as sharp as a zeiss prime. You may not mind the drop in quality. Might be a trade off thats worth it for your run and gun style.
BTW if u sell your zeiss's pm me:)

If that's the case.. Others with the Nikon 80-200mm with Letus EX, do you find your results similar to Tim Naylor's review?

Could you post a link of the review, cuz I bought 80-200m 2.8 nikon and I also bought the LEX, I haven't gotten them yet but I realy would like to know what other people think.
