Does anyone have any info. about current films shot on the DVX?
How about such documentaries like 'Supersize Me', 'The Corporation', 'My Father the Architect' or '9/11' ?
All I know is that the more I watch TV, the more I see the DVX!
Who has used the DVX recently:
- Amy Goodman from Democracy Now!
- The IFC movie "Slasher" by John Landis
- MTV / VH1 for everything...
- Wim Wenders for "Land of Plenty" coming out this year.
- last fall, Steven Soderbergh for "K Street"
- Greg Harrison's "November" coming out this year, I'm assuming.
- the Food Network's "Into the Fire", touring various restaurants around the country.
ABC is using it on the show "The Love Test" They even had a shot of one of the people that was standing in front of a mirror and you could see the camera plan as day. They kept cutting from the main camera to the DVX100 in certain scenes.
I also actually saw the DVX100 in a Music Video on MTV today. The group "Slum Village" has a song called "Selfish". The first part of the video you actually see the camera sitting on a tripod then they cut to shots from the camera. The 2nd part of the video was all film.

I thought Soderbergh was a big advocate for the XL1.

I saw a ton of Canon ads with Soderberg holding the XL1. Oh well, I guess he has moved on.
