Any new info on the G35?

I'm crazy for one of these but the details are strangly fuzzy.

Final Cost?
release date?

But from the test results NOTHING compares to it's sharpness and lack of grain.

from what I understand modifications are being made in order to use the G35 with the HVX...

Problem with the HVX's wider stock lens I think.

So why should we DVX-users suffer the wait for the HVX-users? Doesn't make any sense to me...

I don't think that is what is slowing the release. Just something I read.

But come to think about it...what is taking so long? Legal issues with patents?

Plus it seem the longer we wait the more expensive it gets.

Good Question

Good Question

That's a great question. We will not know though until we get some testing going. A good 35mm transfer is what I have been hoping for the whole time.

On another note:
This whole HVX/G35 wait has been a great lesson in patience! lol

I too have been wondering what the problem is that the G35 is running into? Of course, it's clear that the inventors need to protect their product and it may very well be important for them to take whatever steps to insure that they can come to market and make a profit before a larger company begins to re-design the G35 to come out with another adaptor that competes with it. Most in this community are very aware of the awesome powers of the big makers so I support G35's concerns. Take you time and make it right, is all I've got to say!

Don't know anything about these adapters, so excuse if this is dumb question, but will using adapter permit me to use my 20 mm wide angle Nikkor lens? I can wrap my brain around the idea that I can use lenses the same length or longer than the factory lens, but what about lenses much wider than the factory lens?
