Any musical composers in here?

I need some advice about vurtual orchrestration? I just ordered the Garritan Personal Orchestra after checking the website out and damm its sounds pretty real. Beats hiring the real deal, of I ain't got that kind of money. I was wondering if theres anyone out there who are using this too?

I use East West Quantum Leap Orchestra Silver but it's essentially the same thing. Although I'm hoping Santa brings me the gold pro version. Of course in my case, I am Santa so I can pretty much guarantee that he will...

I like having something I can touch, so I use my Alesis synth and Allegro Finale.

Older stuff, but I still like it. I have had little success writing for any of my films. There have been times that I've used excerpts from previously written pieces, but I have yet to actually score any of my films from scratch.

what sequencing program did you use? I'm running Cubase SX.

i compose at first using a baby grand piano.. i then write down what i compose onto music sheet.. i then go into my studio.. and play each individual instrument using a korg triton studio... i record into a pro tools hd3 system.. i listen... i then find an orchastrator who conducts a live orchastra in the studio..
what is the computer program midi ****??? hahaha

I'll soon put up some samples I did using GOP soon. I'll show you what $250 orchrestra sounds like. It could be good or bad. You guys be the judge. PEACE!
