I have a matrox rtx.100 xtreme pro video editing card and I have been using it for the past 3 years. But as with new softwares and faster computers, I was thinking of ditching the editing card.

I wanted to know whether you guys use any specialized hardware to maximize Premiere or do u guys use plain Premiere to get the work done.
 
My old high school used to use a Matrox card suite thing with Premier back like 5 years ago now. It was great when it worked but just as often, it was cause for a lot of problems.

Now I use my PC as-is for video editing with Premier and I've had no trouble or complaints and I even do some HD with it.
