Any known issues with installing FX Factory Plug Ins?

Hi all:

I seem to recall numerous instances where people have had issues with various weird FCP conflicts and everyone here and over at the Cow asks if they have the FX Factory plug ins installed.

Here is the system:

OSX 10.4.1
G5 dual 2.3 GHz (PCIe)
Aja Kona 3
FCP 5.1.4
QT 7.2

I need the Image Flow plug in for a video I am finishing up. Should I go ahead or am I going to regret it? Clashes with anything on my system?

I have the editing + motion packs installed.
(FCP 5.1.4 on 2.66 Dual Core)

Overall very happy with them.

Only issue i had was with a XDCam project that had ALOT of filters.
(Kept crashing when rendering)

Not 100% that was filter related.

Hi:

I guess the main issue seems to affect P2 file transfer. Wonder if it affect SxS cards too?

Hi Dan,

P2 Transfer bug that was introduced with FCP 6.0.2 was solved by an FxFactory update back in November 2007.

If you install the latest version, you should not encounter any issues.
