Hi guys,
I'm shooting a short that's somewhat of a ghost story this fall, and I need to be able to add in a ghost effected actor.
I have a green screen, and am planning to shoot the actor on that, then key him out & filter him before dropping him into the film.
That's where you come in.
How can I make a convincing ghost using final cut studio 2? In one of my last films we just shot the scene twice and faded the opacity of the video layer with the actors, but I was never happy with that look. Too cheap looking. Doesn't give that ethereal look most people associate with 'ghosts'.
I'm open to ideas.
