Any ideas for a body Harness for HV20

I am going for a hike/climb up Mt. Rainier in Washington State which will be very strenuous. I want to either buy something or make something custom, that I can mount the camera in and harness it to my chest. Then I can just start and stop it and leave it in auto mode to pick up my trip.

My goal is to get 3-4 minutes of video every half hour of the trip. It's about 20 hours of total hiking time over 2 days. I will not have any hands free or energy to do much with the camera except start and stop it, so I'll be in full auto mode the whole way. I may shoot with my wide angle over the cam.

I'll be using an Canon HV20 or equivalent, unless the RED Scarlet comes out and is small enough which I'm not going to count on for now.

Has anyone made any kind of a mounting system/harness that I can buy or am I going fully custom on this one? If I make it myself, I'm thinking about getting a piece of aluminum, bend up a piece into an "L" so that the short part of the "L" is sitting against my body (decent size area to disperse the mount from piercing into me) and the long part will have the camera mounted on it. Probably have the bottom of the mount with holes to get straps through to fasten it to my upper waste and around my shoulders/neck...the waste will bear the weight....the shoulders/neck will help steady it I figure.

Anyway, any tips, advice, ideas would be very much appreciated.

Thanks all-

That's some of the most amazingly cool things they do with this device. Unfortunately it is far too expensive and heavy for me to climb up Mt. Rainier with. But I love the idea of it. Thanks for sharing.

I just need a simple quick mount that has a little bit of stability or at least as much as my body would have.
