Hey everyone!

Does anyone know any great Digital Video Magazines to subscribe to? I am a proud owner of a new DVX100A and I just wanted to know if any of you guys out there subscribe to any cool DV magazines, hopefully the ones that gives you pointers and suggestion to new equipment coming out.

Let me know!

Gotta get AC, The American Cinematographer, the official journal of the American Society of Cinematographers. It is considered the bible in many circles.

I also get, Videography magazine, which is free. I like it alot.

There sight has links to other mags they publish.

I also get Millimeter. It's kinda thin, but is free and has very good articles.

Good luck.

Magazines are jammed full of advertising and little content. There are almost none that are worth the price. Why pay for a sales pitch?

Information is valuable. If you notice the price of most of the mags I recommend, they're in your price range.

Holy Macro!!! Thanks for the suggestions!! These totally help.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, RES use to be all about digital filmmaking. Now (at least to me) it is too much a mish-mash of other things.
Things change, I guess.

I used to subscribe to RES, but like you said, it is now about too much stuff I do not care about. I do check out the web site monthly though.
