any good links to corporate video style interviews?

Unless the shoot calls for more I only use one camera - I quit doing 2 cameras after like the 3rd gig I had. I thought it would be cool and give me some great additions when editing, but I ended up only ever using the technique once since I was using b-roll over so much of the interviews and was just left with a bunch of unused footage. I do see some nice uses of it here and there that look really sharp - for instance I THINK the 30 for 30 pieces on ESPN use a second cam/angle on a slider that they'll cut to on occasion during interviews. But for the most part adding a second camera angle to the interviews hasn't added value to any of my corporate work. If you do decide to use a 2 camera setup just make sure the second angle is different enough to warrant even using it - and not just a slightly closer/zoomed in version of the main camera. Just my thoughts :)

Here are some samples from my interview reel. I like doing two or three cameras when I have time to set it up. You can use cuts to add emphasis, to take out pauses or "uhms," and to give a different perspective. I think it adds to the production value and can quicken the pacing.

I pretty much always do at least 2 cameras on any interview these days. It takes me less than 2 minutes to set up another
camera, and gives me the ability to edit around 'ums' and 'ahs' and pauses as I can jump to another angle. I usually
like to have one wider shot (around a 35mm) and one tighter shot (90mm or so) 70-90 degrees off access to the wider
shot. Sure, I don't always use them, but nowdays with as easy as it is to synch them in an NLE just using audio waveforms,
I don't see many reasons not to do it.
