This is a synopsis of the story Geno by me:
It is the year 2024. The U.S. is at war with the Middle East, and due to the nature of the war, the United States military has developed biological weaponry that runs on living tissue of eucaryotic cells. They use this weaponry because it is more effective, and can create devastating effects to the enemy. But to run these weapons, the government requires organs, both of animals and humans. Since organs from humans provide more of a source of energy for the weapons, the government initiates a military-organ donation program, where every organ that is sold to the military results in 12,000 dollars. This trick falls to the lower class people, who think of it as a way to feed their families. However, the rich believe it is unethical and many religious organizations form into terrorist organizations that bomb government facilities that harvest the organs. This angers the lower class people, who fear that these organizations will get in the way of them feeding their families. The government sees this as a clever way of keeping the supply of organs coming.
In the midst of all this, a politician, by the name of Alfred, is accustomed to the biological weaponry, but feels that the way the government harvests the organs is unethical. One day, he gets into a fight with the military general, and is removed from his post.
Now with hatred towards the government, he finds a job as a office worker near his home, where he meets Sara, a religious worker who is agianst the organ donation program, and is also a bomber. He soon falls in love with Sara, and when she tells him of a plan to steal a government project, known as Geno (a genetically-enhanced humanoid that is capable of providing organs nine times the strength of the organs of humans, which the government will harvest to devolop a Z-bomb to completely destroy the Middle East), Alfred thinks of her as crazy and absurd. However, with the help of her terrorist organization, they manage to start an uprising to steal the Geno. Upon stealing it, Alfred and Sara become wanted across the U.S., and this also triggers extreme hatred from the lower class people, who fear that the donation program will be in danger if they don't capture Alfred, Sara, and the Geno.
Sara plans to take the Geno to a secluded location somewhere in Canada, to keep it protected and away from the government. However, one of her members wants to use the Geno as a way to dominate the world...
