Any good ideas?

OK, as I've posted I've bought a MK012. I also bought a Sabra Shock Mount SSM-1. My problem is that the attachment with a 5/8" female thread was missing. In other words the piece that screws into the shockmount and then allows the shockmount to be screwed onto a boompole wasn't in the package. I've tried to call the Co. that I ordered it from and haven't received a response yet. My question is, do music stores, hardware stores, electric resources etc. carry such items. Is there anywhere I can go and shell out a couple of dollars instead of messing with hassle of getting this very small piece mailed to me? Any ideas?

yes, most music shops should carry this - the boom pole size thread is the same as a mic stand size thread.

Also, depending on what type of pole you are using you can just go to the home depot and buy some 1.25" long screws and hack the butt off. I have done this to a lot of screws just so I can have some to just have extras in case I lose anything.

And yes, to those that know me, I did shed blood when I did this DIY project (I've never built or done anything without hurting myself)
