I'm thinking of picking up a Glidetrack SD slider. I have a few questions. First is weight. I plan on using it with my Canon XH-A1s. Should I go with the Glidetrack SD, or the HD? The SD is quite a bit cheaper, so I'd prefer to stick with the SD if I can. Next question - if I go with the one meter SD, will I need two tripods, or can the weight be adequately supported on one tripod without bending/buckling (again, while using my Canon XH-A1s, which weighs about 6 pounds). Finally, what's a good, cheap head to use on the glidetrack? I'm thinking of going with the Manfrotto 701. Finally, can anyone offer general usability advice/experiences? I've heard that the HW can be noisy when tracking. Is this true? Thanks in advance.
