Any Germans? Quick help with translation...

the german sentence doesn't seem german and the english doesn't seem english to me... how can you give aperson his deserved exposure?? Or do i have missed something in my english lessons? Postmaster, we're waiting for your response... cheers

I know german a lil bit but I just want this to be correct. It is, obviously, dialouge. (The opening of the movie, to be more specific).

Regel Nummer 1 - gib dem Antagonisten immer seine verdiente Spielzeit.

Well actually there is no propper one to one translation in German.
You might use "Spielzeit" but only in strict context, cause it is actually a sports term (play time).
When I would have to say something like that, I would say,

Gib dem Antagonisten immer seinen verdienten Raum innerhalb der Szene.
That is "giving his deserved room" and would be understood by most film guys.

That's why I like English, it's more on the point with less words.

best, Frank

Shoot Frank, I grew up in the US South... we even use less letters per word!!

Hehe, really dig that southern drawl, especially when girls do it, I find it very sexy.
Remeber that Eunice Bloom character from Boondock Saints II? Ya now what I mean.

Jake Lloyd's (little Anakin Skywalker) mum once tried to teach me to speak, like someone from Alabama - we had a blast.
