Anyone still play videogames here?
I do...and i was checking out a game that ive been following since I was 8 years old...the last game of the series.

the most amazing graphics, sounds, lighting and camera you will ever see in a game.

If any of you play videogames...wat are ur fav consoles and all time fav games?
 
I am a HALO girl...

And when I was younger my favorite video game was micro machines, it was this great, stupid, racing game where you were all the different micro machines and you raced around different places like a pool table, a desk, or a kitchen table. It is probably lame but I like it anyway

oh and Zelda...
 
i'd have to say jurassic park for super nintendo.

all these new games like halo 2 are fun and all, but when i'm playing a game, i really don't want to have to think that much, so the simple little 2D games are much more fun to me.

i just played halo at a friend's for like 4 hours, and my head hurts.

Here I am remembering replacing my Atari 2600 with a Nintendo and diving into greats like the Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. and the game but NO -- he's talking about Metal Gear Solid!

Metal Gear got old for me pretty fast; all that sneaking around get's boring. I liked it initially but, eh....

I've been doing Fallen Hope (A BF1942 MOd) and am eagerly awaiting thier Fallen Hope 2 off of the Battlefield 2 engine; Fallen Hope is a 'Realism' mod; less arcady and more emphasis on reality of combat.

It kicks ass. Currently (i'm watching Lord of the Rings TWO TOWERS) I'm downloading some MOMPG called Camelot and it's 14 Free Trial.....................
 
Hey..i still do play the old classics!

If i recall..i did post a pic of some games i had for my old Nintendo.

I jus thought the trailer for MGS4 looked kick ass and i thought the way the camera moves and lighting was siick..so i figured i post it here..since it looks more like a movie..and this is a movie forum last time i chizzecked...
 
I got a copy of that Ravenshield game so whenever I'm pissed off I can run around and kill strangers somewhere in the world online... That's always fun.

I also keep an original gameboy (still works) in the bathroom with tetris in it. Greatest game of all time, and beats reading the EVS catalog for the 2000th time.

yea, it's pretty amazing the graphics they can get on the new systems. i saw the promo for the ps3 and was like, in-game?!?!?! damn!!

That's pretty cool Trent. I tried to get my wife to play Halo, but she just didn't get into it. There don't seem to be a lot of female Halo fans....

Oh well. I used to be a much bigger gamer. Two kids kind of forced me to cut back. When I do get time to play it's almost exclusively Halo 2.

Did you grow up in an all male household? You have so much better pasttimes than most women.... IMO of course :thumbsup:

I'm a Medal of Honour fan personally, but don't play it much anymore. You can't get many games for Macs anyway.
 
I was a geek and had my Halo2 copy preordered, I was there to pick it up at midnight, and I stayed up and played it. :laugh:

Not really, but I have always had more male friends than female friends. My favorite past times are…. watching and playing football, playing video games, working on cars and making movies. The female side likes to get her nails done, spend the day at the spa and drink Martinis or ASTI while hanging out. LOL when I think about it I seem a bit torn in two. :undecided
 
MGS - bought PS1 for that, then got MGS VR missions, then MGS2 (rented) and bought a PS2 for that, then returned it when I was done. Haven't played Snake eater but I want to SO BADLY.

MGS4 will own us all, too bad snake is 67 years old, with a bad case of syphilis...
 
Best game ever- Zelda.

But the new one looks kind of week. I mean, you turn into a wolf for half of it (or something like that.)

Just recently beat Wind Waker for the second time, THAT was a fun game!

MGS1...beast for the Playstation at its time
MGS2...beast forthe Playstation 2 because no one has ever seen those kinda graphics
MGS3...kick ass story line...revamped graphics, textures, sounds, and gameplay
MGS4...going to rape anyone on any kind of level

btw...i have like every MGS...even bought VR missions for PS..and even the document of MGS2 for PS2..i ripped some of the character models off that cd and imported them to my computer to use in some of my 3D CGI flicks.


The only reason they say Snake looks like hes super old cuz of that cloning or w.e of Big Boss, so he ages faster or suttin like that..i read it off gamespot.com
