I'm thinking of converting to PP2 from Liquid, anything I should know about making the switch? what are the typical hangups and idiocyncracies with Premiere that a Liquid user would encounter?

Just happened to notice that the PP CS3 added some features which are very Liquid-y, like their version of the Timewarp Editor. Some indication of background rendering, too.

I noticed that PP cs3 would be announcing a ship date later TODAY. I guess it would make sense to get v3. Although deals on v2 will be abundant, as people and vendors unload it. I have a hard time buying software that's already a generation behind, but it's equally difficult to pay really big money for a software app. Production Studio 3 will cost more than half the price of my fully equipped HP workststion. OUCH! - my wallet!!

Thanks for the good news on the new features, I will appreciate anything that makes my transition to Premiere easier. I am the proverbial old dog.

New Tricks.
