Any Flolight users?

I just contacted their company w/ some questions. Very helpful and friendly staff (I talked to Chuck). I am going to be making an order very soon. TIm.

I purchased the Flolights a month ago and have used them on several productions. Love them...they are a great alternative to the Kino's. Very much worth the price!

I ordered 5200K but they shipped 3200K. They're making the switch, and otherwise the lights are fine by me. The dimmer switch on the back makes them less stackable than I'd prefer, but I'll put some cork spacers on the back so they can stack without pressure on the switch.

Can't you stack them face to face?

I made my own. I love them. The nice part is if you set it up right you can use
clear colored wrapping paper for gels, but if you go to home depot or lowes you will
find you could make your own for about $70. I wold say before you buy at least
go check out home depot, the pretty much have them already made there.

Nathan - care to share your lights in the DIY section? I've made a couple simple ones myself, but nothing comparable to a Flolight bank.

Let's show the DIY ones

Let's show the DIY ones

Why don't I start a thread in DIY for people that want to post what they've done in this area of building their own fluorescent lights?

Will others post there too?
