any amd users out there?

Hiya

I switched from a quadcore Intel to a 6 core Amd setup, and noticed that Premiere ran slower. Forum members have suggested that Premiere is optimized for Intel, so this may be true.

If I had to do it over again I'd stick to Intel for video editing.

For 3D animation the 6 core is definitely faster, if you are into 3D work as well.
 
Intel is better for premiere pro because the INTEL processors have more 'instructions'.

Put simply, Instructions are like shortcuts, Same end result, just quicker.

AMD has far less than intel.
