Ideally, I want to be able to mount more than one accessory to my dslr/monopod set up. I like the setup Stillmotion had in their '10 Tools...' film, but I was just wondering if there are any other similar products out there that would get the job done.

My setup is a 5DmkII with a Manfrotto monopod. I have a shot gun mic on the hotshoe, and would like to be able to somehow mount my Zacuto EVF to this setup.

Any suggestions would help.

something as simple as this would give you two more hot shoes

i have one similar and its plenty sturdy. I would just pull the screw that comes with it out and use a longer one that goes all the way through your monopod plate, through the hole in the arm and into the camera. Otherwise the small mounting screw that this comes with might tend to wobble.

Then you could toss the EVF on the hot shoe and a shotgun on the arm with a hot shoe left over.

and again end up with 3 mounting points

you could then attach a magic arm to one of the 1/4 20 holes and mount the EVF to that. And later add rails, other crap, whatever you like. Tons of mounting options with this.
