Anton Bauer / Logicseries modification help

Hi.

I've made Anton Bauer battery mount (for 15mm rails), with an extra powertap connection.
My only had 1 powertap (and 3.7v for the FS700), and I need two (SmallHD monitor and RedrockMicro remote focus).




I have little experience with electrical modifications, so before I make a mess of things, maybe someone here can conform
or deny if this would work.

I made a quick sketch how I'd connect the new powertap to steal power from the old.
Black on black, red on red (connected after the fuse). Would this work to give me an additional powertap?

Your wiring seems OK, but wouldn't it be easier just to get a D-Tap splitter like this:

Thank you, yes, that was my original idea, but I think it's less messy my way, and less expensive
