Anti Gravity Rig / NEW from NAB

the scissor jib thing is way too goofy looking for me. i wouldn't be caught be dead with that on a gig.

although the price is too high for me on the anti gravity rig what i will say is this. it combines extreme crane moves and still allows movement in any direction plus it appears to be weight distributed from what i can see. i would love to have the potential creative options on a shoot. yes it is rather large but it does say that it will handle extreme camera weights. i have a Ronin and this would be fun to use. it is definitely priced for a higher budget level that i can justify. still could see this in a rental house.

I'm curious to see more on this device.

That accordion jib is a ripoff of a Russian design, and like all of CAME's products, looks like a pretty cheap ripoff. In person it looks very wobbly and unstable, and I could see someone losing a finger to the thing. So both unusable images and extreme danger.

I could see broken fingers and maybe arms too, the force inside the scissors is intense, don't put anything of value in there. Would be neat to see what a watermelon would do inside the scissor with a nice heavy load on the front when you retract it or extend it.

I would put some kind of webbing wrap over the accordion for protection, but honestly the whole thing looked so wobbly I'd never consider it.
