Anti-gravity Machine!

Re: Anti-gravity Machine!

I have no idea! It's on a serious site but it's weird how they would just joke like that?

Re: Anti-gravity Machine!

Haha!

If you can spare the change for that... mind buying me a Arri 535 full system? :)

Oh.. and a ferrari :)

Re: Anti-gravity Machine!

its for real. i thought they were still beta testing it. the one i got a glimps of didnt let the subject stay off the ground very long. it uses sound waves to suspend a person. what your not seeing in that image are the 2 big cylinders to the right and left of the person. not sure why anyone would want it, i mean it doesnt let you do a whole lot you cant do with wires. wires actualy get you more felxability then this thing. i think if the person moves too much they will fall out of the range of the machine causing them to drop. cool thing though!

Re: Anti-gravity Machine!

WTF!! I wouldn't be suprised if people using this ended up with cancer of some sort. Anit that some shiat!

Re: Anti-gravity Machine!

I'm really looking forward to getting my anti-matter gun and Mr. Cold Fusion®. Awesome!

Re: Anti-gravity Machine!

Anti-Gravity machine? That's a wee bit of a misleading title...

No worries bluespider, it would be impossible for this thing to cause cancer ;)

it uses sound waves to suspend a person.

Interesting... I'm guessing it must use ultra high frequency waves? Otherwise everyone would be screaming due to the noise.... I suppose it could be very low frequency as well....

seems like a useless piece...

Re: Anti-gravity Machine!

:D

Clearly just a joke!

C'mon - 40 million

AND

"if shipping costs are a concern we can turn the machine on before packing it"

"will throw in one anti-matter gun and a Mr. Cold Fusion"

"this is the black anti-gravity machine, not the silver one."

I'm not sure if we're allowed to write "Mr. Cold Fusion" on this site. It seems to be a registered trademark.

Re: Anti-gravity Machine!

low frequencey. they have been suspending objects with sound for decades. it all started with holding up ball barrings. anyway, its a joke that that site is selling. not a joke that its developed by jpl...40 million for them to develope it. they also have a machine that uses low frequency sound waves to transport people across solid surfaces. kinda like a people mover but with no moving parts.

who said molecam was a joke?

I think it's just "Mr. Fusion" but it has been a couple years since I watched it.

Re: Anti-gravity Machine!

I remember someone posting this about 6 months ago. Many jokes about "re-inventing the steadicam" were made.
