Another Quick Vegas 6.0 Editing Question

Okay, I'm going through my film footage. I let my friend run the camera for one scene (without making sure he was doing a good job), and he managed to get a Genesee sign in the background. It's actually a pool table light that says "Genesee Beer & Ale."
I can't reshoot the scene, unfortunately. I'd like to alter the word Genesee (or perhaps cover it up using my Vegas software).
Any suggestions?

You can use a cookie cutter or bezier mask and blur it. You'd use two layers and apply the cookie cutter or mask to one of them, and then put a blur effect on that layer.

You COULD get really fancy and use multiple layers to cover it and replace it, but that's far too complicated a process to go into here.

Or, if you shot full frame, you can try to crop it out entirely.

Or, you could just not worry about it.
