Another proud DVX new father in the house!

Sorry for another lame "I got my DVX" post, but "I got my DVX100A today!" Now it's time for me to get out and start shooting. Thanks to everyone on this forum for all the great, and persuasive, info on the DVX. I definitely made the right choice. Alright, I've got to go grab a cold one and start reading Barry's book.

Why didn't you wait for the HVX-200???

It would have left me with no room for any extra goodies. Not to mention the necessary computer upgrade for the HD workflow. Plus, by buying the DVX, I was telling myself I had to earn the HVX. By the time I'm ready to move up, my income from DVX jobs and, hopefully improved, shooting skills will be able to justify it. I'll sit on the sidelines for now and watch the big boys test drive the HVX for me.

Well good luck man, the DVX is a great camera so no loss either way.

That's really solid thinking, man. The DVX is a great camera and I think you'll be surprised with how long that's gonna be a top-notch piece of gear.
