From the commodity standpoint, it's less work than a day of landscaping on equipment that's cheaper than a lawnmower. I'd still like to think there's more value in what we do, but maybe steadily less for some clients.

I'm sometimes tempted to take one of these jobs and do less than an hour's work on them or do some horrible work, but I fear that the "client" would actually be fine with that and not get it.
At least this person is offering some money. Most of the posts I see are for "credit" or "experience" and ask a lot more work.

Want to make peanuts on a more regular basis?:

We have covered more than 400 companies and founders with our staff of 40 correspondents, videographers, editors, etc....We're looking for 2 or more exceptionally talented videographers looking to make their mark. If you also happen to have editing skills with FCP 7 or Premiere that's a plus.
While this work is consistent and on-going as a freelancer, we are looking to "test" your skills with an immediate shoot...for National Geographic.....
We pay a standard rate of $25/hour for videography and editing....
Videographers must have their own equipment and/or editing software, and we require an equipment list prior to hire.
