Hey guys,

This is for DVD Architect 3.0. I know its not Vegas but you guys should know the answer. hopefully.

Question:
How can I get a picture to appear next to the selectable menu text instead of being a colour overlay or picture overlay.

Question:
When veiwing the DVD Menu on screen pre-rendered and rendered on my PC and Laptop the highlights of the text is fine, when moving the cursor over the selectable text. But when I take the DVD and put it on a TV or a Plasma the highlights of the text is not on top but slightly to the left, right or underneath?
This one is really puzzling me. In architect it is perfect.

Please help me out. Thanks.
Dan.

You mean an actual picture? Or a mask? You can only have 2 colors in an icon. Preview your project on an external monitor, so your PAR and SAR are correct. That should help you get the icon/mask to lay where you want it to.

Thanks for replying spot. I got the overlay thing working. but as for question 1. I want a love heart to appear next to the text (like an icon) so when i press up and down (sort of like a cursor) it aligns to the left of the sleectable text in the menu.

The easiest method is to just associate a mask with that link. You can also make a PSD file, and use the layers, but this is one aspect of DVDA that is really clumsy, IMO. (PSD file use)
