Just another discovery I made was that my 3x3 cavision MB fits right on to the front of my HVX. I found that since the filter has an 82mm thread and the MB has an inner diameter of 85 the difference is taken up by the housing of the filter ring. Now I know people will say that the filter stages will get in the way of the MIC, No they don't and there is no vignetting either. I have checked on my production monitor, just to make sure. I know the HVX lcd shows an underscan image just wanted to make absolutely sure. This day just keeps getting better and better. So if anyone out there has a Cavision 3x3MB, throw it on there.
