ANOTHER Intensity Pro question...(sigh)

I output HD to an HDTV from an intensity pro card. I use the same card to output SD via the breakout cables to my sony production monitor.

For giggles I decided to switch my view to the Sony for the HD stuff. TUrns out I can get still frames (which helps), but the video doesn't play. When I hit the pause button, it freezes on that frame.

Anyway to get it to play? It's obviously already downrezzing to get the image.

Thanks.

EDIT: External video is set to "All Frames"...in case you were gonna ask. I know I would..

It's a composite cable that comes out of the card for SD. The HDMI is just for the HD signal.

If I use my jog/shuttle to advance it works in slo-mo. But one I hit the regular playback speed, the image freezes.

I'm betting you are right. Obviously this would be a great low-cost HD monitoring solution if it did work. Even though it isn't pixel-for-pixel, the option to use a calibrated monitor for color correction of HD at this price point would be huge.

I just assumed that I would not get any signal to my production monitor in HD. So when I got the scrubbing and the still frames I thought I had stumbled on to something....

Thanks for the conversation.
