Well I am finally getting around to finishing my basement in my new home to build the office. A few to many odd looks from the cinder block view (OK it was only once) Usually I go see clients, but this is long over due.
I have always had sections of rooms for my office (I used to shoot much more than edit) But as my career is shifting, so are my needs. I have seen the pictures of edit set ups, but that is not what I am really asking. I am wondering for those who have set up such a space what they would recommend. The room is 13 X 9 1/2. There is a four foot closet at the entrance of the room. Other than a custom L shaped desk, I am pretty open. I just found a very nice leather couch that I would like for a client area, as well for naps for me. I was thinking of having some sort of hole in one wall to run computer cables through to have my raid setup in another room. It will have lots of power outlets (Including a seperate curcuit for the computer).
