Another Anamorphic Question

OK,

I have another anamorphic question. At full zoom-in I can't seem to manually focus. Is this normal? Seems strange. The little booklet that comes with the lens doesn't give a whole lot of info on shooting with the adapter.

When shooting with the adapter, I leave the camera (not squeeze) mode, right?

Proper focus is difficult to achieve at full zoom, unless your aperture is stopped way down (like f8 or so).

I usually say don't zoom in all the way -- if you stay below Z90 or so, you should be okay. But on 100% telephoto it's tough. The best you can do is use an external CRT monitor, and stop the iris down as much as you can.
