Another 24P question....

Hello all,
I've got a couple dvx100's (not the "A") version, and I will be shooting some outdoor music festival footage soon. In the past I've shot 60i, but was considering 24a for this shoot.

Given the autofocus issues, and the fact that 1/3rd of my footage will be at night with variable lighting, do you think this would be a good choice?

Final output is for "archival DVD's", and some promotional DVD material etc.

Thanks,

Russell

I just shot a band yesterday with heavy flashing lights and loud rock music at 24pa (F6) and it came out awesome. I used DVRACK for adjustments and white balanced the best I can during intermissions when they had the house lights up. I also had the focus setting to auto but I manually had my iris locked to z99 to let in the most light since it gets really dark during the performance. Hope this helps.
