Andy Roddick

In case anyone was curious,

Wimbleton is going on right now. The semi-finals just ended. Roger Federer will be playing Andy Roddick (USA) in the finals!

Roger is expected to pretty much dominate anyone he plays and he's a pretty cool guy, so I'm torn between the two. I think I'm still going to go with the home team and underdog, because Roger already has every title in the world (multiple times) and Andy deserves a big win.

The finals are this Sunday, so tune in!

i'm actually really psyched for this match. Andy has changed coaches and seems to be maturing as a player quite a lot in the last few years. Roddick has had a temper coupled with big expectations for himself in the past and seems to be his own worst enemy on the court at times. Looking forward to this one!

He seems to be very calm this year. Obviously his tie-break record or what-have-you is insanely high... seems like he is doing well under this new pressure.

He still has a great serve and is doing some good returns... although, I keep seeing balls go by him where he doesn't hustle for it. He is still a little to slow on his feet and he knows it. He'll watch a ball 'out of his reach' go by and let the point slip. The difference between him and Roger is that Roger would probably not assume it was out of his ability and chase it down.

So if Andy decides to start chasing balls down, instead of assuming he's to slow to get to it, he might save a point here or there.

I don't think anyone expects Roddick to win tomorrow, but I do have to say he seems to have made a remarkable turn-around. Will he become another Agassi, with his best stuff later in his career? Maybe.

His turnaround under Brad Gilbert was impressive, but fizzled. However, he looked fantastic yesterday so maybe this new coach's changes will "stick" with him.

Roddick played one of the smartest matches I've ever seen him play and against Murray no less.

Whatever happens tommorrow as long as its well fought. I hate it when the final is too lopsided because someone mentally folded up like an accordian.

Well, I'd like to see him win but I'm afraid he'll choke under the pressure as he has done in the past. Look for RF to step ahead on every other human being who's played this sport.

An unprecedented 15th Grand Slam Title....

RF will prob. dominate, but I'm looking forward to a good match, but looking at Roddicks tie-break performances, he has handled pressure really well this year. I don't expect either to choke from mental pressures. Should be a good game. I'm rooting for Roddick, but I'd put the money of RF.

Because it's sports. Everything shown on TV is 60i or 60p. Watching it this way is kind of like watching archive footage. It's a little disorienting at times. :)

Every year, we say we're never going to see another match like that, and every year, we're wrong. :)

You gotta love Roddick's future if that's his level of play now.
