And Now Michelangelo Antonioni

Just caught it on the news... And I just saw Blow-Up last week!

It feels a bit like 2004, when the two great film composers Elmer Bernstein and Jerry Goldsmith both died within around a month.

This year's saddest day.

I'm still shocked because we're talking about immortal people and after all we've cried their deaths if it's possible to call them as like.

One interviewer asked him to look back over his life. “In a world without film, what would you have made?” he was asked.

Mr. Antonioni replied: “Film.”
