Anamorphic

Cut the crap. Give me some anamorphic lens or adapter that I can stick to my 35mm lens or adapter so I can get 2.35 or wider image. Without words like, you can try that or that, are there any lenses like this out there. Talking here with 16:9 HVX picture in mind.

Drawback is that you gotta find all the right pieces and DIY the thing. Never heard of a 3rd party anamoprhic lens built to screw in front of a camcorder except the one made by Panasonic for the DVX100. Using that lens with a step-down ring on your HVX might work but I'm pretty sure that would deteriorate picture quality.

Afraid there's nothing out there, currently, that will fit your specifications.

Like Gabe said - it's DIY, if you want anamorphic. You might want to check out http://www.schneideroptics.com. They make smaller 16:9 anamorphic adapters that might work with your lenses.
