Anamorphic & Vegas

I just got the panasonic anamorphic adapter for my dvx-100a and I'm just wondering if there's anyone else that edits in vegas that also uses this lens. If so, i have a couple questions regarding aspect ratios for this lens in vegas and how to achieve them...

first off, under file>project properties: what do you generally put for width, height, and pixel aspect ratio when editing footage that used the anamorphic adapter.

secondly, for track motion for the video layer containing the anamorphic footage, what do you set the width and height to.

and lastly, for event pan/crop of the actual video clip, what do you set the width and height to.

I've been having alot of trouble with distortion due to not having these set properly so if anyone can help I would really appreciate it!!!
Thanks,
Christoph

Use the 24p widescreen preset. It will take care everything.

Then right click on your footage and unclick "maintain aspect ratio" It should now fill the frame completely.

You aren't shooting with the anamorph and squeeze at the same time right?

no, i shoot in normal mode, but when i do this it still looks like a 4:3 ratio. when i switch between 24p widescreen and 24p the width and height remain the same, but the pixel aspect ratio changes between 1.2121 and 0.9091 respectively. is that normal? i would have thought that either the width would increase or the height would decrease when switching to widescreen.
