Okay, here we go. I imported some 24PA footage shot with my anamorphic lens adapter in FCP HD. It looked fine in the windows (squeezed and all), and I outputed MPEG2 with the 16x9 button checked. In DVDSP3 I can not get the video to appear onscreen or output to a finished DVD in 16x9! Even in the Simulator the video appears stretched. I checked the settings and all of the 16x9 buttons are marked. What in God's name am I doing wrong?

Have you tried a DVD on a tv with 16:9 support?

I'm using dvdsp2 not 3, so it might have changed.
Two things:
1. Make sure each 16.9 track's General tab is set to Mode: 16:9 Letterbox.
2. If you are using widescreen Menus, then under the dvd title general tab tell it to force Menus to 16:9 Letterbox too.
