Anamorphic Lens vs. Camera Letterbox during edit

Has anyone recored in Camera Letterbox mode, then mixed the project with capture using then Ana adapter?
Does it all come into Vegas the same way?
Which I assume is standard NTSC DV 24P preset.

yes, I have, you just need to set each clip's properties/pixel ratio in the media pool if it doesnt do it for you automatically.

Thanks Jarred. I find many questions here are addressed by the Whitepaper from Sony/Sonic - then re-asked again!

Did you notice a quality difference between the two sources?

There is a very subtle difference between the two.. but you can tell, specially when it is blown up and projected.
