Anamorphic lens on 35mm?

Can you effectively attach an Anamorphic lense on a 35mm lens set provided you use the correct step rings?
How much light do you lose with a typical ana lens or specifically the LA-7200G.
 
Not sure the Anamorf would work very good on a 35mm lens. But my information would be that U loose one stop.

Are you planning to use a mini35 and the dvx?
 
Using the ifilm static adapter and was hoping to pair it with the LA-7200G. Anyone else who could provide why it wouldn't worK?
 
Remeber even if the LA is optimized for the DVX it is only good in the 10-90 zoom range. If you put in infront of a lens thats not build the same way as the DVX you could face number of problems. But im not an expert in this field so I cant for sure say i wont work but i wouldnt put my money on that solution.
