Anamorphic lens for the HVX? 2:35 to 1

All,

Is there an anamorphic adapter (other than the 35 adapters) for the HVX? If possible, I'd like to shoot 2:35 to 1 (or thereabouts) in 720P. I'd prefer to not have to shoot 1080 and crop. Is this possible? If it's not available yet, who are the likely manufacturers going to be? Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a thought, and please correct me if I'm wrong .
If I remember correctly, 1080p has almost twice the horizontal resolution of 720p on the HVX. Wouldn't that added res be much better for a 2:35 to 1?
It seems to me that an anamorphic adapator on a HVX would have more negatives than positives.
 
I think the negatives outweight the positives in shooting 720 with an anamorphic adapter vs cropping. Yeah, cards fill up faster but you create so many other problems and limitations.

Now 1080p Anamorphic might be worthwhile....
