Anamorphic Issue

Hi, I need some serious help. I shot 24p regular with a 16x9 anamorphic lens. What are the appropriate settings for import into Final Cut? My partner did it and whatever settings he used made the whole image squished horizontally! I tried to find the answer on the message board but could only find directions related to 24pA.

Click the anamorphic checkbox in the clips' item property and sequence settings. You don't need to recapture.
