Anamorphic Epiphany!!!

If when using the anamorphic adapter, your f/stop setting depends on your zoom and your focus. What if you are shooting two subjects in one scene under the same lighting conditions, but the zoom and focus settings are different for each subject. You'd have to use a different f/stop. AND if this is correct, all of your different shots for one scene will never match up(as far as exposure goes).

Is this true, or does the adapter react differently to the light when used w/ certain f/stop and zoom combos? I need to know before I buy it because it is not worth it if I have to manipulate the brightness of ALL of my shots in post. Thanks for the help.

That's where neutral density filters come in. Also, you don't have to set a *specific* f-stop, you just need to make sure that your f-stop is *at least* down to a certain number. So one shot may be f/4 and the other f/8, but as long as the anamorphic only required f/4 for proper exposure under those circumstances, then both shots will be fine.
