Always read that you should never remove the UV filter from the front of the DVX stock lens in order to provide constant protection for the DVX lens and inner circuitry, etc.

What about when using the anamorphic adaptor? When out in the sunshine are you not putting the camera in harms way without the UV protection?
 
The main reason people say you shouldn't remove the UV filter is just to protect against physical damage to the lens (mainly scratches). Don't be afraid to take it off when using the anamorphic adapter.
