Anamorphic Adapter with 35mm Adapter

I want to know if it's possible to use a 16:9 anamorphic adapter on the DVX100 with a 35mm Adapter like the SGPro?? Theoretically the anamorphic adapter would go on the 35mm lens before the SGPro but I've heard such an adapter is very expensive and probably not that easy to come by second hand.. So, I want to shoot 16:9 on my DVX without loosing resolution and probably want to use an anamorphic adapter after the SGPro. Can anyone tell me if this is at all possible and has anyone actually done it sucessfully??
Any info would be appreciated!

I'm going to take a stab here... Nope... I haven't seen an anamorphic macro lens that will fit on (or in conjunction) with the Panasonic anamorphic adapter.
When you use the anamorphic adapter with the DVX100 you shoot using 4X3 aspect ratio and change the display to view 16X9. When capturing to your computer you then capture with a anamorphic setting... the anamorphic adapter squeezes the 16x9 image into the full image of the full 4x3.

Addition: You see the Macro lens that is used with most 35mm adapters focuses on the image that is impossed on the focusing disk/focus screen/ground glass inside the 35mm adapter... the macro lens would have to be bent glass... in such a way to accomidate the 16:9 image for the DVX and the 35mm image that is inside the adapter with the impossed footage.

I have read that people up-rez 4x3 with 35mm adapter (using 24mm, 28mm and 35mm lenses) images to 16x9 in order take advantage of the full 3ccd chip...

I have shot some 35mm 16x9 images with my Redrock M2 and a 24mm lens and I've gotten some stunning images...

using a 35mm adapter opens up the possiblity of shooting true cinemascope 2:40-1 using the full sensor. I have a Japanese Kowa scope adapter made for bell and howell 16mm projectors that will fit in front of nikon lenses. I don't have a 35mm adapter but I have mounted it directly to the front of my old canon gl1 and shot footage with it.

In editing you import the footage as 16x9 and then manually resize to 2:40 further sqeezing the top and bottom.

I beleive the redrock M2 has an optional mount for russian cinema lenses that would allow you the use the scope lenses that are often available on ebay fairly cheap.
