Analog To Digital

Trying to import some old VHS's into FCP. I tried runnning it through the DVX100B. The images show up in the log and capture window but is unable to record. Says "Waiting for timecode". Is there any way to bypass the timecode? Anything I need to check off in order to convert analog to digital?

I tried that before and for some reason it did not work. After reading your post I decided to try again. It works like a charm now. ?????
