An Idiot Abroad

[Sad Max]

Anyone watching this?

Based on the promos I was ready to dismiss it sight unseen, but in under five minutes it's won me over.

[Gord.T]

I have it on my Discovery channel list but honestly it's at the end of my 'nothing else to watch' order. Been kind of busy. Is it any good? I'm sort of interested but haven't got to it yet?

[Sad Max]

It alternates embarrassed chuckles with doses of stark truth. Like most anything it's probably not for everybody.

I'm a huge fan of "The Ricky Gervais Show" on HBO, as well as the original podcasts, so it was a no brainer that I would like this show. I find Karl endlessly entertaining, idiotic, and brilliant all at the same time.

I like Ricky Gervais. I'll have to sit down and watch these tomorrow.

Great show!

Literally knew nothing about this show until I ran across it tonight. Easily, some of the freshest, most original programming on TV.
Certainly puts the "Science" network on the map.

I saw the title, as I was flipping through the guide. Passed on by. On Max's recommendations, I was again flipping through the guide, and decided to try it. I'm not quite sure if I like it or not. It's certainly not Anthony Bourdain, but I did have a few good laughs.

I find everything Karl does completely hilarious, I don't know what to call him besides a funny SOB.

[buhce]

Anyone know what cameras were used on this because it looks pretty good ?

[Nathyn]

I liked "Extras" so maybe I'll check it out.
