Been a while guys, I have a new music video for you. Last HVX video, migrating to RED. It's been great DVXuser over the last 3 or so years. I'll still be around, but no more music video posts. Those will now be over at reduser.net.

As always some of the best sgblade footage I've seen, you nail it every time! =) What scene file did you use and how much CC did you do?

I prefer the Hunting Season more due to its location and song I guess. But this is a good work too.

May I know if you don't mind, what is your process work flow? I am using HDV camera (FX1) with SGBlade and it seems to deteriorate the quality every time I am doing post-production. What codecs and software were used?

Thanks

P.s. Oh, yeah I forgot to say I really enjoy scene 00:38 using that crane of yours. Which brand was it anyway?

With HVX footage, FCP Log and Transfer, Edit, send to color, Grade, Send back to FCP for any vignettes with Magic Bullet Looks, then export through compressor. Sometimes I give a Prores source file to an encoder who cleans the image up and encodes it for web playback.

Not sure what type of crane....though the crane and the operator did the crane work for the original Dukes of Hazard Series. So it's pretty old. Haha. Motorized though.

looks really beautiful - wonderful crane shots and excellent lens flares. really really nice!
