I'll be in Amsterdam for a couple days next year, and I'm wondering what I should make time for out of the ordinary attractions? Thank in advance!

Of course the Rijksmuseum. The last time I was there they were building/remoding and did not have all the exhibits that I believe have been presented in the newly reopened museum. In the same area is the van Gogh Museum, and lesser known Stedelijk Museum.

One could probably spent a month in these....

There's also den Haag where there are more museums... if you have more days in the area.
