I had a cheap NVIDIA card, it worked OK but I want more power. So I bought AMD Firepro W5000 because in Sony website's test article (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/vegaspro/gpuacceleration) AMD Firepro is better than NVIDIA Quadro.
I installed it. The Windows system rating shows 7.7 at Graphics and Gaming graphics. I'm satisfied with the score.
Then I did some tests in Vegas Pro 12. But it seems this card can't make remarkable acceleration. It can only accelerate some filters. It even make some plugins slower. I'm very disappoint.
