Amazing filming op!

[Doc Bernard]

Woo Hoo! I just got the green light to work with a local PD/SWAT team and film them in action during their training! I will be imbedded in the unit for their training evolutions, including dynamic entries and take-downs!

Color me stoked! This also helps me in my acting pursuits, learning from the real deal!

That's awesome, Steve! I hope my old Varizoom controller is treating you well.

Sounds like a blast. Have fun with it, sir!

[Doc Bernard]

Oh, I think this is going to be more than a blast! And, yes, DC, it is still working like a charm! I use it when I am on sticks.

Sounds like a blast.

Literally!!!!

Sounds like fun though. I almost got the opportunity to ride along with the local fire dept. to document real emergency situations for a training video. It never happened though. They didn't want to do all the work required to get permission for me to ride along.

What would be really ironic is if you are with the SWAT guys, they get called out, and it ended up being some noob filmmakers that were shooting an action film without permits causing someone to call the cops because they mistook it for a real incident.

Lucky bastard . If you plan things right you could fill in the rest of an action movie? Or a pretty sweet music video at least...unless they're paying you for exclusive rights to the footage I guess. Lots of potential extracurriculars
