Amazing adapter work "Sno" - Kevin Shahinian

I was surprised (well not that surprised) to see that Kevin's amazing piece "Sno" has seen over 8000 plays in one week, and made Vimeo's front page for a few days.

"Sno" was shot in Sweden with the Canon XH-A1, Canon FD lenses, the Brevis MP.2 lens adapter and a few other items from our kit including our Titan Mattebox. Even if you don't shoot with our adapter, it's well worth a look. Stephen Nathans-Kelly (editor of EventDV magazine) was so impressed with it, he featured it in this month's editorial. Kevin may be one the hardest working guys we've ever come across and is managing to cram speaking engagements at WEVA in with a full fledged production in India (yes, India)...over the next two weeks. Crazy.

I'm trying to watch it, but it's telling me the flash players isn't up to date or it might not be installed. Now I know I've installed/upgraded flash 4 times now and every time I get to the install screen where it asks witch HD, it's telling me it's a package that contains 0mb.... ??? Anyone else having this problem ?




Anyway from the still it looks amazing, wish I could figure this out. Dennis do you have a QT version, not flash to view ?
 
Vimeo, when you're not logged in, displays videos by their popularity/likes etc. On Friday, the f/8 Summit (part 2) trailer was up there, as was Kevin's film..ranking 2 and 3. We figured that was pretty cool :-)

Thanks for watching, and Dennis, thanks for posting this. I was really pleased with the XHA1 + Brevis pairing on this film.

To answer your question, Avenger, the aerials were shot on a Cineflex system. We were concerned about cutting the footage in with A1 but I think it works quite well.
